About The Reserve

This private lakefront community is located on Lewis Smith Lake next to the William B. Bankhead National Forest in Black Pond, Alabama. Surrounded by nature and a variety of wildlife, The William B. Bankhead National Forest spans the entire western boundary of The Reserve at Edgewater Bend. (See the Aerial View)  The only other boundary is the emerald green water of Lewis Smith Lake.  This extremely desirable location ensures minimal traffic and the utmost privacy.  If you are interested in your lake front dream home being away from the crowd and surrounded by nature, then you have found the right place.  Phases I & II are ready to build. All lots have been perced & approved for single family homes. Lewis Smith Lake

Lewis Smith Lake is located in north-central Alabama approximately 20 miles northwest of Birmingham and spans Cullman, Walker and Winston counties. Smith Lake has 550 miles of shoreline, covers approximately 21,200 acres, and is over 300 feet deep in some places. It is very common for the lake to maintain depths of over 100 feet and more.  These deep waters host a variety of fish including the now famous Striped Bass of Smith Lake weighing as much as 50 pounds. Guided tours are available for night or day fishing trips on the lake. 

Sipsey and Brushy Creeks

The Reserve at Edgewater Bend is located where the Sipsey and Brushy Creeks merge together on Smith Lake in Section 22 and 27 in Winston County, Alabama.  The water is over 150 feet deep here, in places, and hosts a variety of activities including swimming, boating, skiing, and fishing.  The area is very peaceful, with it’s natural beauty adding to the many benefits of lakefront living.
